Founders in Bloom Pop-Up Residency Application

Founders in Bloom is a four-month weekday storefront residency inside Aya House in Eastern Market, located at 2055 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48207, running March through June. Approved founders may operate as often as Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, using the space as a structured daytime activation to test retail concepts, offer consultations, sell products, host workshops, and build real visibility without committing to a permanent lease. This initiative does not support kitchen-based food operations, nightlife activations, or festival-style vending, and all founders are responsible for bringing their own materials, staffing, inventory, and operational setup.


We strongly recommend conducting a site visit prior to submitting payment if you have never visited Aya House. Limited slots are available. You should have thoroughly reviewed the full program details and been invited to apply. If you have not, please pause and review the necessary materials and get approval to apply before proceeding. We are unable to process refunds for this application.


Important: A payment based on your selected weekly schedule will be required at the end of this application to secure your residency. If you are not prepared to submit payment today, please return when you are ready to commit to your spring activation.

You must remove all items from the storefront premises or place in appropriate storage areas for any days your residency is not active. Do not click submit unless you are prepared to make a payment. All payments are final and will not be refunded under any circumstances including if you decide to cancel your pop-up activation, reduce the number of days, or be moved to an alternate season.
